Integrative Medical Doctor
Dr Kasia is a fully qualified Integrative Medical Doctor. She has completed her General Practitioner (GP) training in Australia (FRACGP) and a fellowship of Integrative Medicine through the University of Arizona. She has also completed a Diploma in Women’s Health, a Diploma in Child’s Health and a Diploma in Palliative Care.
Dr Kasia has over 15 years of post graduate experience and has worked all over Australia and has recently returned from 2 years in Canada. She completed her medical degree in 2002 (UQ) after a science degree with a Psychology Major. Dr Kasia has long been interested in the mind/body/spirit connection and holistic care of patients.
Dr Kasia started training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2006 with the long term aim of working in holistic women’s cancer care. In 2011 Dr Kasia decided to change the scope of her practice and moved into General Practice.
As an Integrative Medical Doctor Dr Kasia is committed to working with patients and their health care providers. She believes a person’s life and emotional story contributes significantly to their health and illness. Her focus is on using integrative modalities that are evidence based. She feels diet and lifestyle changes can improve chronic disease and help prevent certain diseases. Dr Kasia’s experience and training is broad and she welcomes all patients.
As Dr Kasia is joining an incredible team of naturopaths and psychologists, her initial focus is not going to be on prescribing supplements or counselling, but rather supporting the integrative care of clients along with the team of Practitioners.
