Digby completed a Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Physiotherapy at Western Sydney University and has since had over six years of experience working in a wide range of settings including rural, sports, private practice and aged care which has given him a broad scope of practice across different ages and population groups. Digby started his career in rural towns in Northern NSW which strengthened his clinical practice and ability to see both common and unusual presentations. It was here that Digby also became a certified Clinical Pilates Instructor with APPI and had the opportunity to work alongside an internationally renowned podiatrist for gait and lower limb biomechanical assessments.
Digby was well known in the community from his private practice and aged care work and was a
respected presenter at various community seminars and workshops. Since then, Digby returned to his hometown, Sydney, where he has spent the last three years working with elite sports teams including Western Sydney Wanderer’s FC and The Australian School Boy’s Football Teams, which he continues to tour with currently. Digby was selected as the head physiotherapist travelling to Japan and the United Kingdom to support touring teams with training, rehabilitation, acute injuries and injury prevention for up-and-coming football (soccer) stars. Digby also worked at a local Sydney private practice continuing to deliver evidence-based practices on a wide range of presentations and providing community seminars and workshops.
In his free time, Digby enjoys exploring his new home town in the Sunshine Coast via bushwalking, bike riding or travelling. Digby has played football for over twenty years in addition to a range of other sports including tennis, surfing and cricket. Digby is also a marathon runner, recently training and completing his first trail marathon in the Blue Mountains earlier this year. Digby has recently become a new dad to baby Spencer who is a very cheeky and curious little boy that keeps him busy.
