Nikki is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has qualifications in Psychology, Children; Family Studies, and Child Services. She has diverse clinical experience across private practice, non-government youth organisations, and educational settings including both private and public schooling.
Nikki works with all ages however is particularly passionate about child and adolescent mental health, with a strong desire to make a positive difference in young people’s lives. She enjoys modifying traditional evidence-based therapies into energetic, and interactive approaches that help boost engagement and effectively establish rapport.
Nikki has a strong knowledge base and practice in Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) and ADHD, and has previously delivered multiple workplace presentations on effectively engaging ASD and ADHD clients in therapy. She works from a warm and non-judgemental client-centred approach and enjoys utilising a diverse range of treatment modalities including Cognitive Behaviour
Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Creative Therapies.
