Megan is calm and easy-going. She believes there’s no problem too big or too small for therapy, and aims to create a space where you’ll feel comfortable and supported. She’ll meet you where you are with warmth and zero judgment.
Her approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration. She combines evidence-based practices with genuine care to support you in finding balance and making meaningful change in your life. She combines elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), DBT (Dialectical Behaviour Therapy), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), including mindfulness.
Megan enjoys working with everyone: young and old, those adjusting to parenthood, people experiencing grief, stress, burnout, and the broad spectrum of mood disorders, including anxiety and depression.
Her experience has taught her the importance of taking a holistic approach and helping people to develop their fundamental wellbeing, then building up from there.
Megan is a Provisional psychologist. This means that she has completed all of her required university studies and has been practicing for 3.5 years under the supervision of a senior psychologist. She will hold her full general registration later this year. Until then, Megan is not eligible for a medicare rebate.
Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. Together, we’ll figure out what’s going on and work toward a solution that feels right for you.
