What happens in a session with a Psychologist?
Psychology sessions begin with an assessment, which involves the psychologist spending some time to assess and understand your situation. Once you have completed the initial assessment, your psychologist will work with you to implement specific evidence-based techniques.
Our Psychologists are trained professionals with expert knowledge and clinical skills. Through close support, they strive to help you implement skills that bring about lasting change. Psychologists aim to build a supportive and empathetic relationship with each client. Both Glenda and Therrie, actively listening to and strive to understand your unique situation, emotions, feelings, thoughts, beliefs, behaviours and actions. This helps them to provide support and guidance throughout the process.
