Psychologist (Clinical Psychology Registrar)
Kate is a registered Psychologist with experience working across private practice and educational settings. She works with adolescents (ages 10+) and adults, and is known for her warm, genuine and down-to-earth approach.
Kate places strong value on building a collaborative therapeutic relationship, creating a space where clients feel safe, understood and supported. She works alongside her clients to develop insight, strengthen coping strategies, and create meaningful and
lasting change.
Kate uses a range of evidence-based therapies tailored to each individual’s needs, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). She also
incorporates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (including Trauma-Focused CBT and CBT-E), Attachment-based frameworks, and Motivational Interviewing.
Kate works with a range of presentations, including:
Anxiety and depression
Stress, burnout, and overwhelm
Relationship difficulties (romantic, family, and friendships)
Life transitions and adjustment challenges
Disordered eating, body image, and body dysmorphia
Self-esteem and sense of self
Emotional regulation and distress tolerance
Supporting neurodivergent individuals
Kate is passionate about helping clients better understand themselves, navigate difficult emotions, and build a life that feels aligned with their values.
Kate offers both in-clinic and telehealth appointments.
Kate has recently completed her Master of Clinical Psychology (Advanced Entry) and is currently undertaking her clinical registrar program toward endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist.
