Michelle is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has qualifications in Psychology and Education. Michelle has experience within primary and secondary educational settings providing assessment and support for a range of presentations including ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Complex Trauma and Intellectual Disability. Michelle has comprehensive experience in the administration and interpretation of cognitive assessments and has a passionate approach to therapy engaging both adolescent and adult clients.
Michelle provides an atmosphere of support, empathy and trust with whom you can share your experiences without fear of judgment. Using a humanistic approach, Michelle looks to build upon her client’s inherent strengths to overcome challenges, cope with change and motivate personal growth. Michelle uses a variety of evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioural therapy, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy and motivational interviewing.
